Russel Bell's India Report — January 23–March 5, 2007

Dear Supporters and Interested,

Praise be ever unto our God and the Lord Jesus Christ for all his good gifts. God continues to smile on our ministry in India. Christians and churches in India continue to grow up, mature, and are beginning to accelerate the appointment of elders and deacons as we continue to emphasize this important subject.

I was blessed to have Danny Rader the first part of my trip and Mike Niehues the second part. They both are doing a good job in India. My work here this trip took me to four States: Andhra Pradesh, Tamil Nadu, Maharashtra, and Punjab. It included 9 flights and 4 train rides plus numerious taxi, SUV, 3-wheel auto rickshaw rides. Experience is so helpful in moving about in India. Except for rare occasion, we have the best translators, drivers, guides in country. They are more than co–workers, brother, and sisters, but dearest of friends.

Statistics of this trip

I delivered 70 lessons.
We baptized 187.
As usual, we delivered needed books, Bibles, worship supplies, song books, to churches and preachers as we visited, worked, and worshiped.
We saw and opened so many new permanent church buildings.
We also took applications for help on incomplete church buildings.

All these listed below have been fully paid for and delivered to faithful churches of Christ and their preachers.

10.	3 or 4 overseas trips per year	6,500.00
	Total paid for 2006	$70,000.00

With this first trip completed, more than half of these projects are paid for and delivered. The other half will be completed next trip, August/September 2007. God bless each of one of you individuals and churches who provide the $70,000.00 each year. You should hear the words of thanks coming from the churches/preachers who receive these supplies, books, building helps, and bicycles. Please never become weary in well doing (I Corinthians 15:58). These supplies are so needed, well used, and appreciated. God bless you for giving.

There are more churches of Christ in India that in the U.S. They are growing in number and depth of maturity. Your donations to this ministry are helping to achieve this. God bless you. Special thanks to the LaPoynor Church of Christ for overseeing our work. Also special thanks to all the churches and individuals who support me, as well as providing $70,000 for our projects listed. My books “Rightly Dividing the Word of God” volumes I, II, III, IV and V are available at $5 each; and "God Man Money" at $10 per copy, postage paid. All money from book sales go to India Evangelism. Roy Lanier, Sr's book "The Church" wwas released in Telugu, 10,550 copies in January 2007. This is probably the most important book ever translated, printed, and released in India toward maturing our churches with qualified elders and deacons.

$11,500.00 to print 10,000 song books:
5,000 in Tamil
3,000 in Hindi and Marathi
2,000 in English
This was a joint effort of India Evangelish ($9,000.00) and Sai Nagar Church of Christ in Chennai ($2,500.00).
